We came here with the intent on having services that are unique to The Greenbrier. You can have a facial and massage just about anywhere… but there aren’t many places that minerals and essences are used from their own springs. We opted for the Detox Mud Wrap and the Mineral Body Polish (Joey), and the Detox Mud Bath and Pinnacle Facial (Amy).

The mud wrap and mud bath were both heavenly but it wasn’t the “mud” that typically comes to mind… The Greenbrier uses volcanic ash prepared with their mineral waters for their signature treatment. It actually bubbles while it’s on you so you know it must be working. (And lucky for you, you won’t have to clean it up afterwards!) The mud treatments promote deep tissue detoxification and boost your metabolism while balancing the skin and improving elasticity. You could tell the difference in your skin immediately after the treatment.

The mineral body polish is the ultimate treatment to awaken your skin. The exfoliating benefits of salt combined with a mineral base leaves your skin polished, smooth and infused with over 34 natural minerals. (My aesthetician, Jenny, was amazing. She is highly requested and even has a celebrity following—but I won’t name names here! Book with her if you can, but honestly I doubt there’s anyone that isn’t superior.)

The Pinnacle Facial is a Greenbrier specialty. “My facial was sensational! I think the best part was the collagen mask- it was so cooling and soothing… and my skin showed the results for days!” says Amy.

While at The Greenbrier you MUST try one of the soothing sulphur baths. For years (and we mean hundreds and hundreds) people have traveled miles to bathe in the sulphur waters of White Sulphur Springs.
